Inspiration and wisdom can derive from just about anywhere; and a reflective look at the past can be very enlightening. Mayor Harold Washington was a master politician, word smith, coalition builder, and all around legend. Recently, I was asked to participate in a panel discussion giving honor to his legacy. While researching his career, I was reminded of just how amazing Mayor Washington was as a leader and speaker (as evidenced in the interview below).
